As world renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma has said, " Music enhances the education of our children by helping them to make connections and broadening the depth with which they think and feel. If we are to hope for a society of culturally literate people, music must be a vital part of our children's education." Our goal is to continue to offer the school shows to the community FREE of charge, in an effort to provide this wonderful educational opportunity to every student in and around Dougherty County. The cost per program is $25,000-$30,000 each year. This is quite an endeavour and we can't do it on our own. As a non-profit, we depend on the generous support from sponsors and grants to provide this programming. The arts are such a vital part of the educational system , and with your support you are partnering with the ASO to provide this opportunity!!
